An Exoplanet's Ecosystem

I was doodling some organisms that produced mobile, animalistic offspring, but later metamorphosed into more tree-like structures. I was also doodling these bulb-headed flying creatures I'd invented a while back (formally known as "Octopodal Pterotheres), but now I was trying to conceptualize their evolutionary lineage. So I ended up meshing them into the same environment.

Sketched with pencil, then went over with a black crayola marker and some red sharpie I found in desk drawer at work.
